How to start playing MBAACC quickly!

System Requirements

For the best results your PC should have the following:

• OS: Windows 7 Service Pack 1 or higher (or WINE for Linux/MacOS, see below)

• Memory: 2GB of RAM

• Storage: 3GB of disk space

• Screen resolution: 640x480px minimum, 800x600px or above recommended

• Graphics: DirectX 9.0c & OpenGL 2.0 compatible graphics

It is possible to run Community Edition on older Windows OS versions or certain other downgrades from the requirements listed, but this will be at your own risk!

Graphics Drivers

If your PC is within the specifications listed above but doesn't have official graphics drivers installed you may get crashes. If you've never installed drivers for your PC get them from your provider: Intel, AMD, or Nvidia.

Windows 7/8.1 Updates

If you are playing on Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 ensure that you have the following official updates installed:

• Security Update for Windows 7 (KB3063858)

• Update for Universal C Runtime in Windows

• Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015

Setup

MeltyInstaller downloads and extracts Community Edition resources with just a few clicks.

1. Download MeltyInstaller.exe and run the executable.

2. Click "Select" to change the installation path.

3. Check "Install CCCaster" to download the launcher for Community Edition.

4. (Optional) Check "Install Concerto" to download the GUI & online lobby client for CCCaster.

5. (Optional) Check "Create Desktop shortcuts" for shortcuts to CCCaster & Concerto to be placed on your desktop after installation.

6. Click "Install" to begin downloading the game.

   • This may take a few minutes depending on your internet connection. When the download finishes, the application may appear to hang while it is extracting the assets. Do NOT force close MeltyInstaller!

7. Use the desktop shortcut or browse to "CCCaster.v3.1.exe" in your installation path to launch Community Edition with the command prompt.

8. (Optional) If you chose to install Concerto, use the desktop shortcut or browse to "Concerto.exe" in your installation path to launch Community Edition with a GUI.

Manual Setup

Download the prerequisite components separately:

• MBAACC

• CCCaster

• Concerto

You can extract MBAACC's contents to a folder, then place the contents of CCCaster's archive in the root of the folder (i.e. CCCaster's .exe file should be in the same place as MBAA.exe). Concerto.exe should also be in the same folder as MBAA.exe

Non-Windows installation

Concerto is not supported on non-Windows installs, but you can still access lobbies from the CCCaster command prompt interface.

Linux Install

Download the game using either MeltyInstaller or manually, use WINE to launch the CCCaster .exe and play.

MacOS Install

Download the WINE wrapper for MBAACC and update the CCCaster files included from the usual source. Use WINE on Mac to launch the CCCaster .exe and play.
