To access Training Mode in CCCaster, just type 4 into the command prompt and then type 1 to get training mode (for Concerto: Click "Offline" then click "Training".) You should now see the character select screen.
Take a moment to configure your controller from here. Press F4 with the game running to bring up the controller overlay. Make sure things are working before heading out to play online.
If you are not able to configure your controller with the overlay for whatever reason, close the game and open CCCaster then type 6 and bind from the command prompt interface.
Quick video guide for CCCaster:
For Concerto:
Click "Online", then click "Direct Match".
If you are hosting, select the "Game Type" (versus by default, or Training in the list) then click Start.
Your hosting IP:Port string will be displayed on screen and copied to your clipboard. Give this to your opponent.
If you are joining, click "Join" then paste the IP:Port string from your opponent and click Start.
After connecting, both players will be suggested default rollback and delay frames. You can change them if you like, or not and just click Start to begin playing.
Press F4 on your keyboard at the Character Select Screen to set up your controller if needed.
Through CCCaster or Concerto:
CCCaster:
Type 5 for Server, then type 1 for Lobby. Choose options 1-4 to browse public lobbies, join a lobby or create one.
Once in a lobby, type a key corresponding to to the person you want to challenge, accept a challenge, or spectate an ongoing match.
Concerto:
Click "Online", click "Lobbies" to bring up the public list and click to join.
Type a Lobby ID if you have one or create a lobby yourself.
Click on any person to challenge, accept a challenge (these appear at the top of the lobby list), or spectate an ongoing match.
